Shooter app by Kennedy Development Group LLC is an app used for ballistic
calculation. You can buy Shooter at
just $9.99 on app store if you are using an iPad or iPhone or download from
Google Play Store if using an android phone. You can also find the app on
Amazon App Store.
Shooter has very good accuracy levels
that surpass those in many apps. It also has a good user interface that
responds fast and is easy to use.
A great advantage of Shooter is that when
you create a profile of your gun and ammunition, the app will save it, hence
you do not have to re-enter the data ever again. You can create profiles of
any gun available at shooting.org.
Shooter also taps into your device’s GPS
and accelerometer data so that you do not have to enter it.

A ballistics solver
The ballistic solver uses the G1& G7
models to measure the efficiency with which bullets move against air resistance
when fired. The solver calculates trajectory, wind power, speed and time of
flight.
You can choose G1 model for shorter bullets
and G7 for longer bullets. This makes your trajectory calculations more
accurate

Gun and ammunition profiles
You can create profiles for all your guns
and ammunition. This way, when you open the app, you can select the profile you
want to focus your shooting practice on.

You can access information for over 1300
bullets in shooter’s inbuilt library. This makes it easy to select the bullet
you want to use. When you select a bullet, its data is automatically loaded
into your ammunition profile.

Shooter has an in-built calculator that
allows you to estimate target range using your scope.

Detecting angles
Shooter uses your Smartphone’s
accelerometer to determine the angle of your shot. You simply have to aim the
phone at your target. Remember to turn on your phone’s angle detector.

Atmosphere detection
Shooter will automatically detect and
capture atmospheric details such as temperature, humidity and atmospheric
pressure. It does this using GPS location to access data from the closest
weather station.

Record powder temperature
You can record the powder temperature of
each load and shooter will automatically change muzzle velocity based on the
recorded temperature. For these adjustments to happen, you need to provide
muzzle velocity variation per degree.
