Xiaomi recently created buzz in the Indian tech sphere by announcing the price of its upcoming launch - Xiaomi Mi3 - in India. Since then, people have been speculating about how Xiaomi will provide the after-sales service in India. Thanks to an anonymous tipster, we can now confirm that Xiaomi is bringing its own service centers in India. As expected from a new entrant, Xiaomi won't be opening up service centers in all the towns and cities of India. Instead, it is following Motorola-like approach by starting out with a more manageable number - 36 in this case.
According to the list, Xiaomi will have two Exclusive service centers in India - one each in Central Bangalore and South Delhi. The other 34 service centers will be Multi-brand service center i.e. apart from Xiaomi, these service centers might cater to other smartphone brands too. All in all, these service centers are present in major cities across India with NCR getting a major chunk of them, 8 to be precise (5 in Delhi, 1 each in Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad). So if you happen to live near the capital region, you will be at luck getting your phone serviced with ease.

Our source also hinted us of Xiaomi's plans to expand this list, the aggression of which might depend on the response the Xiaomi Mi3, among other possible launches, generates in India.
