Moto X has been listed on Flipkart with a Coming Soon status since quite some time now. Putting an end to the wait, Flipkart officially tweeted the pricing details and the launch date of the elder sibling of the outrageously popular Moto G.
As is evident from the tweet, Moto X has been priced at a neither-so-high nor-too-low price tag of Rs. 24k. If you want to have an earthy feel when you hold your Moto X, you will have to shell out Rs. 2k more for the Wooden Back panel.
Big news! The #MotoX will start at Rs. 23999 and is releasing tomorrow! #MotoOnFlipkart http://t.co/LrWqTuHXuE pic.twitter.com/KvEcEud9ne

Several other tweets confirmed that only the single SIM 16 GB variant of the Moto X will go on sale as of now, with no words on the other ones.
@yourstrulyAbhi Just the 16GB single sim, as of now. No plans to launch the 32GB or dual sim version. #MotoOnFlipkart

Though tech pundits have been in a fix over whether Moto X will be as grand a success as Moto G was at its launch, we personally think Moto X won't sell as much as Moto G. Moto G offers something no other branded smartphone offers at that price point. On the other hand, Rs. 24k can get one a LG Nexus 4 or a Galaxy S3, which are nearly as good as the Moto X if we spare the always on listening mode feature Moto X packs.
