Samsung SM-Z9005 Tizen phone sells on eBay - Leaked specs and Pics

While Samsung is expected to unveil its first Tizen offerings at a pre-MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014 event on February 23rd, a Samsung Tizen device has already been sold on the eBay. The Samsung SM-Z9005 smartphone, which is rumored to be running the upcoming Tizen OS, was listed on eBay.com for USD 300 and has been sold to an anonymous person with the highest bid, which also stays anonymous.

Below are the two shots of the smartphone what was listed earlier:

As is evident, the phone’s screen is turned off (or the phone is switched off), so we don’t get to have a look on what the Tizen OS might look like. The phone looks exactly what we expect a Samsung smartphone to be, so as of now, no brownie points to the SM-Z9005 in the design compartment.

The item’s description leaks the following specifications about the device:
  • 4.7 inch screen
  • 16 GB internal memory
  • GSM support
The seller h-ton99, the only other items in whose shop include power banks and chargers, seems to be located in Flushing, New York, United States. The device which has been sold on eBay might be a prototype device, if it is actually a SM-Z9005 model. It is possible that the buyer shares the Tizen device with media and if that be the case, we shall be covering that too. So, stay tuned!
