Karbonn Smart Tab 8 and 10 are two really good value for money tablets that come with really balanced specs overall. A nice resolution, large battery, Jelly Bean on board and a lot of other things makes it hard to neglect these devices. The development on these devices has been greattoo, as compared with tablets made by other Indian manufacturers. A rooting method for both these devices has already been explained. So, to really play it safe, you would want to have a full device backup in case anything goes wrong. That is possible only with a custom recovery like clockworkmod or, in this case, TWRP recovery.
What is TWRP Recovery? This would be a good question in the context of this guide. TWRP stands for Team Win Recovery Project, and just like clockworkmod recovery, it is a custom recovery that replaces your stock recovery and enables a bunch of useful options like flashing unsigned zips, full device backups etc. So, if you are an advanced user, or plan to be so, TWRP recovery is really worth the 5-10 minutes or so it will take to get the recovery installed. If you are murmuring to yourself, "Why don't he just tells me the procedure now", then you don't need to wait more, as the procedure starts from the very next line.
